Lanarkshire Driver Trainer Association

Who are we

We are a group of individual driving instructors and driving schools from North and South Lanarkshire who have come together in order to promote road safety. We have been in existence since 1992
We are also affiliated to DISC (Driving Instructors Scottish Council)
We represent the biggest group of instructors in Scotland and have consultation rights with the DSA (Driving Standards Agency)
Which means we can help make, and change decisions that affect you!

What do we do

We keep our members up to date with all new driving and teaching practices.
We keep our members up to date with all new driving laws.
We are involved in CPD (continuous professional development)         

  
This is all beneficial to our pupils

What it means to be included in our association

The benefit to pupils are; if you have a particular problem in regards driving, test bookings, test routes, test centres, test examiners, we can act on your behalf.
We as an association can help in these matters for the benefit of you, the pupil.

All our practicing instructors are fully qualified ADI’s or PDI’s and are registered with the DSA
This safeguards you against unqualified instructors!
